The Teachings of Grass:

This children's book was created during the UM SEAS class "Restoration Ecology". Written by fellow UM master's student Neeka Salmasi; illustrated by Amani Tolin. The following story is adapted from an essay written in Braiding Sweetgrass by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer. The essay, entitled Mishkos Kenomagwen: The Teachings of Grass, tells a real story of sweetgrass restoration.

H.O.M.E.S. by Amani Tolin and Jenae Wright:

This book was created as an assignment for the Winter 2022 course “Nature, Culture, and Landscape” taught by Dr. Sara Adlerstein-Gonzalez for the University of Michigan undergraduate department Program in the Environment and graduate department School for Environment and Sustainability.
